ACS Exam
The Department
of Chemistry at the University of Indianapolis is pleased to host the
2004 Indiana Section of the American Chemical Society High School Chemistry
Scholarship Exam. The scholarship exam will be held in on April 17, 2004.

Students are nominated to compete
for the scholarships by their high school chemistry teachers. Freshman,
Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors may be nominated. There are two divisions
of the exam: one for students completing the first year of high school
chemistry and one for students completing two years of high school chemistry.
The winners of the competition will
receive up to $1000 in scholarship money that can be used at the college
or university of the student's choice. The exam is also used to select
ten students for the National Chemistry Olympiad Exam.
The scholarship exam will take place
at 9:00 AM at the University of Indianapolis on April 17, 2004. Registration
will begin at 8:00 AM in Lilly Science Hall on the U of I campus. All attending
teachers are invited to a teachers' workshop at 9:15 AM.
